The Project Manager is the control center in your Xpert-Timer. Open the Project Manager via your timeline,

or by right-clicking on your Xpert-Timer icon in the taskbar:

By default, your Xpert-Timer comes with the following areas displayed:

1.) Projects: Here you can see a list of your created projects. Numerous grouping, categorization, and filtering options are available.

2.) Tasks: This is the list of your tasks. Here, too, the grouping, categorization, and filtering options are available as in the project list.

3.) Timestamps: Here you can see the individual timestamps for your projects.

Depending on the modules you have purchased, you will see a list of possible windows at the bottom of your project manager. You can show or hide these windows by simply clicking on them.

In the respective list, you can use the "View" menu item to display the timestamp list, the task list, or, for example, the services/costs in a separate window. Simply select "Open in separate window." This gives you a better overview, especially if you have entered a lot of data in Xpert-Timer.

Saving views

Once you have grouped and filtered the data as you need it, you can save this view in the time stamp list, the task list, and the services/costs. This allows you to return to your filtered view with a single mouse click. To do this, select the "View" and "Save as" options in your list and assign a meaningful name.

This view is saved under the name "Employee times for the month of June."

To display the data again, simply click on View and then on the "Employee times for July" button.

By right-clicking in the menu area of the time stamp list, as well as the task list and services, you can choose whether you want to display the saved views. To display the views, simply click on "Button bar for views" in the selection menu.

You can also show or hide the quick entry line by right-clicking. Quick entry allows you to create a task, project, or timestamp entry in a single line.

 

Function overview

Right-click on your menu bar to display a function overview of the icons in your project manager:

Once you are familiar with Xpert-Timer, you can hide the button labels for a clearer overview. To do this, right-click on the menu bar and uncheck the "Show labels" menu item.

You can also customize the appearance of your Xpert-Timer to some extent. For example, you can change the color of the project manager or choose from a selection of colors. To do this, right-click on the colored bar in the project manager:
