Xpert-Timer has a large number of object-related context menus that you can open by right-clicking. These menus usually offer you additional editing options in all lists or data views, e.g., projects or tasks.

Press Ctrl+Alt+X (or the keyboard shortcut stored in the configuration) to open the Xpert-Timer action menu with the most important functions.

Have you activated the "Start projects retroactively with Ctrl" option in the configuration and forgotten to switch to another project? Then hold down the CTRL key and select a new project. You will then be asked at what time this project should be started. The "old" project will then be ended at this time and the "new" project will be started at the specified time.

You can easily edit the comment for the timestamp by pressing F2 or clicking in the comment field. You can also copy comments and insert text modules. To do this, right-click in a comment field.

Xpert-Timer has an intelligent quick entry feature. It understands 20m as 20 minutes, 0.5h as half an hour, or you can use the traditional format 2:20 as two hours, 20 minutes.

Xpert-Timer provides you with a favorites list where you can display all your important projects. This makes it easier to switch between projects.

Once you have created your project list and want to assign a specific progress to all projects, you can do this by selecting multiple items with the mouse and right-clicking on the corresponding column.

Task packages allow you to bundle recurring tasks into a package and assign them to specific projects using drag & drop.
