Action when double-clicking on a task |
To make working with tasks easier, you can set here which action should follow when you double-click on a task. By default, the task opens for editing. |
Display due tasks at startup |
When you start Xpert-Timer, all due tasks are displayed in a separate dialog box. This gives you the opportunity to check again which tasks still need to be completed. |
Copy completed tasks to activity history |
When you check off a task as "Done," the subject of the task is automatically written to the activity history. |
Copy started tasks to timestamp comment |
When you start measuring the time for a task, you can have the subject of the task automatically written to the timestamp comment. |
Query time estimate for tasks when starting |
To calculate the duration of your entire activities, you can now also assign an estimated duration to each task. By right-clicking on the "Estimated duration" of a project, you can add up the duration of the individual tasks. |
Start the task project when stopping a task |
When time tracking is stopped for a task, time tracking automatically continues directly on the project to which the task is assigned. |
Display note in task list when mouse hovers over entry |
By default, a note is displayed when you hover over a task with the mouse. This contains information about the project. You can disable the display of this note here. ![]() |
Open task dialog when dragging and dropping emails from Outlook |
You can easily drag emails from your Outlook folder into the task list area. A task is then generated from the email. (Additional module: Outlook module) |
